These are the main terms that apply when you use Felt studio’s services or buy our goods. Please read them carefully before you confirm your order.
Our notes, advice and guidance are based on experience with South African interiors and the features of our felt goods. They do not replace the work of an acoustic consultant, fire engineer or building control officer. Always confirm technical requirements for your project with the relevant professionals, especially for specifications like noise control or fire safety.
If you need certified data such as acoustic test reports or fire reaction class, ask us for the written documentation for the exact product and thickness. Your installer or project professional must check that any solution meets local regulations.
Quotations and orders are confirmed in writing. Once you approve a quote, we’ll give you a written confirmation with the agreed lead time. Please check all details, including dimensions, finishes and installation notes, before signing off.
Most of our goods are cut or made to size for your site. These can’t be returned simply because you change your mind, so be sure of your choices before ordering. Colour and texture may vary slightly between dye lots and from what you see on your screen.
We deliver and install across South Africa. Before installation, your site must be clean, dry, dust-free and ready for our team to work. We’re happy to advise on site preparation if you need guidance.
Risk passes to you on delivery. Please check your order on arrival and let us know straight away if anything is missing or damaged. For installations, our team will sign off with you once work is complete.
If you are a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, you have rights for defective goods, except where goods were made to your size or instructions. Contact us through our contact form if you have any concerns about quality or fit.
Our liability is limited to the direct purchase price of goods or services supplied. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. South African law applies to all orders and services. Felt studio is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd.
