Meet our felt studio team

At the heart of Felt studio are six people who know felt textiles inside out and bring hands-on experience to every project. Whether you are looking for a custom banquette wrap for a Cape Town café or wall felt for a Joburg office, there is a specialist here to help.

Ms Thandi Mokoena, our managing director in Woodstock, keeps projects on track and ensures clients get the right advice. Mr Jonas van Wyk, also based in Woodstock, is our textile lead, he can guide you through felt options, colourways and best use for each space. Ms Lerato Dlamini, our spaces editor in Johannesburg, works with designers and architects to help plan interiors and mix finishes that suit South African light and climate.

Acoustic, showroom and installation support

For acoustic felt needs from clinics to open-plan offices, Mr Samir Naidoo in Durban covers sound advice on panels and ceiling clouds, including correct mounting for absorption. Ms Nomsa Khumalo hosts our Pretoria showroom bays, ready to demonstrate samples and talk through practical fitting or care questions on site.

After you have chosen your felt solution, Mr Pieter Nel leads installation and care from Stellenbosch. Pieter makes sure every project is measured, fitted and finished the right way, and he supports you with care tips for long-lasting felt.
