Common questions about ordering felt goods

Clients often ask how to choose the right felt product for their space, how sizing works and what happens after they submit an enquiry. Whether you are fitting out a new banquette, need an entry mat for a busy clinic, or want acoustic panels for a boardroom, our team can guide you on which finish and textile type makes sense for your use and climate.

Many want to know if we install across the country: yes, we deliver and fit throughout South Africa, from Cape Town to Gqeberha, Joburg, Durban and up into Mbombela. If you’re unsure about measuring, selecting colours, or matching existing finishes, just ask for our advice. Remember, felt cut to a specific size or custom made for your space can’t be returned if you change your mind.

What to send us so we can help quickly

The more detail you share in your message, the smoother your order process. Tell us where the project is (city and suburb), which product or finish you’re interested in and what your main goal is: for example, reducing noise, protecting floors, or brightening a dull reception.

Clear photos, rough dimensions and any special requirements (such as wall condition or bench height) help us advise on both textile choice and fixing method. If you have a floorplan, sketch, or reference image, add it to your message, dont worry about making it perfect.

What happens after you send a message

Once your message reaches us, our textile specialists check your details and reply with any clarifying questions or suggestions. If your project is complex or you need to see samples, we offer appointments at our Woodstock studio, or at appointment bays in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Century City, Bellville, Umhlanga or the V&A Waterfront.

We prepare a written quote that includes the technical specs and fibre details before you commit. For business and public spaces, you may need to show a fire or acoustic test report to your local building officer or fire engineer. The Consumer Protection Act covers defective goods for private buyers, but please note: custom-cut or made-to-order products are not returnable if you simply change your mind.
