Lead times

Lead times depend on the felt textile, the finish and where you are based. We cover common timing questions and what to send for an accurate quote.

Lead time questions we often answer

Most fabrications are made or cut to order. Timing can vary with the type of felt, the process (cutting, sewing or mounting) and the delivery address. Wall felt, partition screens and ceiling clouds take longer than small items like desk mats or trays, especially with complex shapes or colour requests. Large projects or custom finishes may need extra time for sampling or approvals.

If you are planning for a home, office, hotel or school fit-out, let us know early if you have a handover date or phased work. For Cape Town and Joburg, installation calendars fill quickly during school holidays and around year-end breaks. Deliveries to Durban, Mbombela, Gqeberha or smaller towns can take longer depending on outside contractors and courier schedules. We always confirm the expected time frame in writing before you approve your order.

What to send for an accurate lead time

To give you a realistic lead time and check your requirements, we need a few details up front. The more specific your information, the easier it is for us to help.

You can send these through our contact form. If you have plans or photos, add them as attachments so we can check site conditions and finishes.

How we handle orders and returns

Once we receive your message, our team checks your details and confirms any technical questions or site factors. We send a written quote that covers lead time, delivery, installation (if needed) and basic care. Your order only goes into our studio schedule once payment is processed and your choices are confirmed in writing.

Under the Consumer Protection Act, homeowners and small businesses are covered for defects or misdescribed goods. Please note that goods made or cut to your order, including wall felt, partition panels and plinth wraps, cannot be returned just for a change of mind. If there is a problem with workmanship or specification, let us know as soon as possible so we can resolve it promptly.
